Its Monday tears.
I want to say
beneath it all
I'm a good person
and sometimes,
more increasingly,
when I watch a film,
my stomach aches,
and I get the need to
tell someone about my life
because I'll die
and people will only know
me as the frivolous happy soul
I'm not.

Is there a song nobody has heard?
Am I here if noone knows?
Is there love left?
Is there any truth?
in us?

    It wearies me; you say it wearies you;
    But how I caught it, found it, or came by it,
    What stuff 'tis made of, whereof it is born,
    I am to learn;
    And such a want-wit sadness makes of me
    That I have much ado to know myself."

  2. I have heard it...and I may just be humming it here and there ...today and tomorrow...

    someone has heard each and every song...
    someone knows ...

    sometimes they know and we do not...sometimes they might know more if we would only know...

    tell them, tell them and live

    I saw a movie called blood diamond last night...made me think I want to make a difference...to do what I can...to find a place that I fit...a passion...maybe not all roses..but a desire to keep going and to find the best in myself...to help others to have that opportunity...the opportunity to live a life that makes them happy and part of love...but it also brought to mind my own mortality and how sharing with one or more...is the richness that makes other things more meaningful...we do accomplish more together as part of the collaboration of the world...you are a collaborator...

    this wouldn't be the movie you saw..now that would be weird.

  3. I don't know you Jen, but that is EXACTLY what I felt after seeing Blood Diamond. Spread the love. It's the only way.

  4. Thanks for adding to it (wasn't intended a poem just written to look like one). I really don't know how to respond to your comments on this one because the feeling seems a long time ago.
