And the story of the world.

“Their grades will determine their job, their house and their car.”

I don't feel an urgency to excel in this sense anymore. I don't see a need to work with people I don't agree with. I don't know if its a good thing.Don't give me that sentence...you know how that sentence goes ... You'll have to do it someday OR but thats what life is...

Read.

  3. in the past I might have been inclined to say how noble it would be to work with those you don't agree with...

you could try to influence them for the good...and maybe learn more about why you don't agree

but these days, I think that working with those you agree with...at least on the bigger issues...like if it has to do with your vision or dream or values...

    grades=job=house=car

where is being yourself=following your dream=feeling part of something bigger=connecting=health
    =wisdom=giving and feeling love

grades are only important if they reflect knowledge or skills learned
    ...ones that matter to you...
or ones that are necessary to get to the place that you aspire...

grades say something...but never enough.....: )

  4. Yes Jen, very well said grades say something but never enough.

to follow your dreams i would say, there isn't just one.

I see that one mustn't only work with someone who agrees with them, but I don't see an urgency anymore to work with people whose vision I don't appreciate, or don't know enough about. Their names don't matter. Their work does and more importantly the people they are, what they bring out in you, because I always say that for a mojor part of our life we are reactors.

  5. oops...

didn't finish thought on "but these days...." will finish here...

"...is likely more satisfying, more productive, and all around good..."

as long as you keep an open mind and resist being always in a group that thinks the same...never venturing out to see what others are thinking...

."agreements"....some are wonderful...the kind never to break...others can seem good to you at the time, but you may want to break them in the future...

and this, I think...is what life is :)
